Recommended Reading

What would you recommend as a comprehensive book for beginners to help with understanding sound engineering terminology like LFO's, FRFR, Envelope Generator etc., how
they affect sound w/examples, what sine, log and saw waves are, that sort of thing.

Perhaps a Rosetta Stone for someone who, when they open the Axe Fx manual, it appears as if 3/4th of it was written in greek haha :D
 
I don't know if there is a comprehensive book for that but to be honest I'd just start here and maybe thegearpage forum. And the almighty google :p
 
Start from the manual. For each unknown term, search wikipedia. Read the article. Follow the "See also" links and "External links" :mrgreen
