Real vs. Modeled Amps X/Y Test

Hey All,

I posted this in the FM9 forum but it would apply here as well.....
Let me know if the following layout looks do-able, or if there is a better way to do this. So, I would like to be able to run the effects of the FM9 through a real amp using the 4 Cable Method. I would also like to be able to run the same set of effects through a modeled amp and cabinet. I do not need to do this at the same time. I was thinking of using the 'Multiplex' block and Scenes to accomplish this. In the example below, Scene 1 is for the 'Real' amp. The Multiplex block is set to take Row 1 as the input. The Out 3 Block is used to send back to the 'Real' amp. Out 1 which would go to an FRFR is turned off.

Scene 2 is for the 'Modeled Amp+Cab' amp. The Multiplex block is set to take Row 3 as the input. The Out 1 Block is used to the FRFR. Out 3 is turned off.

Any suggestions? Is there a better way to do this? Thanks in advance.

Remove the MPlex and place the Amp+Cab block between Out2 and In2, all connected. When In2 is on, nothing behind it (Amp+Cab) passes thru so your external loop (real amp) is the active signal. When In2 is off, the external loop is muted and the Amp+Cab will pass pass through.

Then just have a ctrl switch or scene toggle In2 bypass. I mentioned this a few days ago here:
