Questions about Output Config

If I’m going into a Laney LFR-12 with Out1 and into FOH with Out2, should I choose “Stereo” or “Copy L->R”? And “-10 dBV” or “+4 dBu”?

At first I thought that I just leave both at “Stereo” and Out1 at “-10 dBV,” but then I watched the video below and it got me confused. 😅

I have Out1 go to FOH - it has the XLR. Out2 goes to the FRFR.

In the I/O section set mode to SUM L+R and Output2 Copy = Output1.

Output level = +4

Since you are only going to one cab no reason to set for Stereo.

The setting for Stereo/Sum/Copy L->R is per output.

Using Output 2 Copy Output 1 doesn't copy that setting from Output 1.

Also, the Output 2 Copy only has effect when there's not an Output 2 block in the preset.

The OP should be aware of the risks for phase issues when using SUM.

If there's no stereo effects required, then Copy L->R or just using Stereo is fine since only one side of the output is being used anyway.

Have set the Out2 to copy Out1 and SUM since day 1 and have had no issues. Get all same tones and effects to FOH and stage cab.

Although all of my presets are straight line on the grid. Nothing fancy.
