Question in regards to the two FC-12's "Switches" jacks

I am aware that the Axe FX 3 doesn't change amp channels but I am under the impression that one can program an FC-12 to do this with the "Switching" jacks.

Are they not the equivalent of the two relay jacks on the FX8 which could be used to switch between all 4 channels of a Mesa Roadster? I assume they are due to the talk of latching vs momentary switching in the user manual but I can't seem to find where and how to setup the latching/momentary functions for each ring/sleeve of the cables I'm sending out.

am I doing something wrong? can it switch my amp channels? if not what exactly are they used to switch?

Thanks in advance

they are for switches, like foot switches. they are not amp relays, which is the term i think you're referring to.

Interesting. So are they just for adding additional switches for someone who needs more switches than the FC already provides without having to hookup an entire second FC-6 or FC-12?
