Question: Bypass Cabinets same as removing cab from preset using a shunt?

I am going to use my regular cabinet the first time gigging with the AX8 but I have an acoustic patch (sounds fantastic by the way) that I need to use the IR match. So I leave cabinets enabled to cover that patch but remove the cabinets from my gain and clean patches. I can't seem to tell a difference which is good but want to know if anyone else has done this and their experience. I will mic my cab as normal this gig then work in the IR's to FOH later. Baby steps.... LOL....
 
Did a search and found my answer. It is the same. It's amazing how customizable Fractal products are. Think it and it is possible. Thanks.
