I have my AXE FX III for a week now and I love it and still own the AXE FX II.For some of my live gigs I trigger backing tracks and also do live looping in Ableton.I route the audio of the AXE FX II into Ableton via a IK Multimedia axe i/o and have the backing tracks and guitar on separate outputs.
Because the AXE FX III is also an audio interface I want stop using the IK multimedia axe i/o.
So I have the AXE III as my audio device in Ableton.I use OUT1 in the grid and input 1,2 and output 3,4 in Ableton for the guitar.The backing tracks use output 7,8 in ableton so in the grid I use IN U to OUT4.This way I have the guitar and backing tracks separately. I use output 3,4 instead of 1,2 because then I have the guitar doubled at output 1 of the AXE FX III.
Now here is my question:Can I do this routing globaly?
This way I have to put IN U to OUT4 in every preset and switching presets produces a little audio dropout.
Of course with scenes and channels I can stay in the same preset but I wonder if it is possible to do this globaly.
