I understand there are environmental reasons and a cost savings to FAS to not provide a printed copy of the manual with purchase, and the rationale that things change quickly so that a printed version gets out of date quickly so just refer to the online PDF.
I would just say for the price of these units, and the fact that Fractal gear really requires folks to RTFM (this seems to almost be a standard reply to many questions posted in this forum) that it would be a nice plus for users when unboxing new gear to have a manual right there to take with you wherever you do your reading.
Guess this will force me to upgrade my old dot matrix printer now??? Sigh
Seriously tho, do the fundamentals really change so quickly that a printed manual loses all relevance and usefulness? Version control could be used to address this concern.
Having said that, the Fractal manuals are very thorough and clear, and fun to read. They are well done!
