Preset switching with an external switch!

Hello!
I became an FM9 owner!
I managed to make the settings!
As I planned!
One thing won't work.
I want to change presets with an external switch.
There are PDL1 -PDL2 - PDL3.
It is not possible to switch presets when connected here!
I am attaching the picture!
Can someone help me with what I need to do to be able to change the presets with an external switch?

You've got External 3 set to FC1 Switch 3. It should be Pedal 3.

Also, the FM9 and Axe III don't support dual switches on their pedal inputs. Only one switch will work between the tip and sleeve connectors (the B switch on the Boss I think). You can use a Y splitter cable to separate the A and B switches and use two of the Pedal inputs if you need both switches.

For Preset up or down, you'll also want to assign the pedal inputs to the Preset Increment or Preset Decrement functions in the MIDI Remote menu > Other page instead of an External Controller.

Another method is to set them up as stand in switches for switches in one of your FC layouts.

Looks like the Boss FS-6 also has separate jacks for each switch, so you can use a regular TS cable from each of those jacks into two of the pedal inputs to use both switches as well.

I solved the change of presets within FM9.
But until I had the FM9 in my hands, I thought that I could change the presets with an external switch.

You can. You just have to set it up to do so via MIDI/Remote menu or using stand in switches.
