Bug? Preset backtrack not working w/MFC v2.01, AxeFX II v6.00c

I believe I've stumbled across a bug with the backtracking feature of alternate presets. I'm running the latest firmware on the AxeFX II (v6.00c) and the MFC-101 (v2.01). I went into the SETUP menu on the MFC and set GlobalPreset to BAK, but nothing changed -- when I hit a preset footswitch a second time, it switches to preset 000, not the last used preset.

My understanding is that presets have the global alternate preset as their default alternate setting, so setting GlobalPreset to BAK should make the presets backtrack (i.e. I shouldn't have to edit individual presets to enable this behavior). Is this a bug, or am I misunderstanding how this feature works?

Might as well try a system reset on the MFC first.

I will give that a try. I was hoping to avoid a reset as I think the docs indicated it wasn't necessary going from 1.04, and I didn't didn't want to reconfigure my pedal settings... oh well. I'll let you know how it goes after the reset.
