powered carvin monitors and unpowered frfr wedges help

im not made of money so i would like to know if anyone has any experience with these powered monitors, or if anyone has fun their axe through any carvin Pa's? also if i bought two unpowered frfr wedges from atomic would it sound ok if i ran them with a carvin PA?

I don't own either product, but I believe you'd be happier with the passive Atomic FR cabs and a good SS poweramp.

I used a pair of LM15 passives with a Crown XLS602 for over a year. They didn't sound bad, but the horn would mush out if I pushed them hard. Not a bad deal for the $$$ (I have a soft spot for Carvin), but not the best choice IMO.
