Pick attack?

Maybe the topic title is wrong. I ask this question over and over again.
Are there any ways to enhance the sound of a pick touching the strings?
We hear scratches like he's playing with a big and fat steel nail.
Like this:

I've tried picks of different thicknesses. I tried using a steel pick. But there was no such sound with them.

Maybe you get some good result using the Input Dynamics control on the Dynamics tab of the amp.
I don't know if this tab is or will come available on the FM3 though, but according to this video it has a equivalent in the compressor block.


Another idea you can play with, is a parallel path which focuses/increases/enhances the pickattack frequencies.

Yeah, and maybe also with it's own Drive block too, which you can blend. That's what i would experiment with...
