Parameters for the firmest of wooden tones?

I'm trying to work on a very firm tone, like the exact opposite of a squishy rectifier, where instead each individual note is made of Brazilian Walnut.

But I'm a bit confused by the different parameters available for this and how they differ, and I'm not smart enough to understand the wiki terminology. So far I've been playing around with increasing power tube and preamp hardness, increasing negative feedback, lowering supply sag, but I'm unsure what I'm doing otherwise since I prefer not to get too far into the tweaking realm.

Any tips or advice on this firm desire of mine? Am I on the right track at least?

Do you have any examples for the tone your after?
Not really. I briefly used Helix Native recently while away from my FM3, and it had this weird stiffness to the sound that I actually liked, so I wanted to recreate it in one of my FM3 presets.
