is NMG a thing? no idea but thought i'd share a change to my evolving hobby studio setup. I recently sold my Yamaha MODX keyboard as I realized 99% of the time I'm using VST's. So began the research into what midi keyboard would best suit my needs. I wanted a decent to great quality 61 key keybed with a bevy of onboard physical controls that didn't look like a fisher price toy and a focus on Ableton Live integration which is where I'm usually messing about with keys in session view. I got an amazing deal on this Novation SL MK3 that someone bought new for a studio project and never even opened it. the guy traded it in towards other gear. I got it for half of what they retail for. It's an amazing midi keyboard. I'm pretty impressed with how clean the design is. I also just sold my Akai APC40 MkII since there's so much overlap on the novation keyboard and today just bought a used little Novation launchpad mini mk3 strictly for the clip triggering.
