I think the trem arm is maple.
I mix them up in certain areas when I do light/off-white dressups. This is my 3rd ivoroid/lightly flamed maple dress up PRS.

The back plates have a few coats of satin nitrocellulose on them with a level sanding and a few fiber grains. Then I used a cleaner and a polish that seem to work with the satin nitro. Did it to the flame maple 408 pickup rings, too

I like the contrasting between different parts on the guitar.

I am not a finish/wood guy, but after having to do some drop fills on a few guitars, I've ventured out a hair more.
