Hi Everyone, I’m in Bristol, UK and have just bought my first ever Fractal unit…..the Axe-Effect Ultra.
Bottom end of the food chain value wise I know, but still sounds pretty good to my elderly ears!
Will be visiting the forum as I get into the programming etc. and become hopelessly confused, which is what usually happens.
First thing is …no headphone socket, I’ve improvised by using the phone sockets on my Apogee Ensemble Firewire and it is ok .
Is there another method that I am missing perhaps?

Congratulations!
The AxeFX Standard & Ultra didn't come with headphone outputs. Your solution sounds good.

My first Fractal unit was also an Ultra and, though it was 2011 when I started down the FAS path, I have great memories of the super sounds I was getting with that box. Definitely worth having… and convinced me digital was for real.

Should you decide to move to a newer unit in the future, you’ll be astounded at how far they’ve come!
