New DSP chips, new timeline?

Hi!

As many of you, I am delighted about the FM9 Turbo announcement as it seems to address the semiconductor shartages while improving on an already fantastic product, and I don't mind paying a little more for a 10% increase in power. I wonder, however, by how much this smart workaround will contribute to ramping up production? Are we going towards a normalization of production times. Any insider information, dear Fractal? I feel like a kid before Christmas.

Fractal has already spoken elsewhere:

Some forecasts say the chip shortage is improving, and may even move towards a surplus . Others are more conservative and say that it could be well into next year before any improvement is actually felt. Still others say that we're about to experience a whole new wave of horrors as the global supply of noble gases used for laser lithography is decimated by the war in Ukraine. In the meanwhile, all we can do is stay on top of things while dedicating more than ever to innovation.
