Working on an FM9 Opeth tone that covers the main clean, heavy distortion, but also the more fat proggy tones featured in Sorceress and Heritage. Here is my patch sound for Ghosts of Perdition! (no bass)
There is a certain 'honk' here that I am unsure of how to dial out. Also, I noticed I had to spike up the high end alot in Logic for it to sit in the mix of the drum track. My original preset doesn't contain such a bright lift in the higher end of the spectrum.
