My latest partscaster build. A Strat this time.

This one is going to be gorgeous !

Player HSS with plus top, Wilkinson VS100 trem, Thornbucker PU in the bridge, locking staggered tuners with the small butter bean buttons. Blacked out the plastics, and another flat oval 12" radius roasted maple neck due in tomorrow.

Kinda heavy though.

It is perfectly bookmatched. And it moves in the light with deceptive depth. That's hard to do with a thin veneer. This one came in looking better than the photos.

This is the best playing guitar I have held since the MIJ Charvels I played in the 80's .. and the thornbucker is a great fit with the single coils.

It's heavy and probably staying home, but definitely a keeper.

A little fine tuning the setup once it settles in and it is the super strat I wanted ..that big F just wont build.
