My FBT Verve 12ma is due in today!

Now that you guys have had the 12ma units for awhile, do they still beat out the QSC solutions (in terms of sound only) ?

Take the bass control down to about 1030 O'clock. It has too much bass otherwise.

Enjoy!
i disagree(respectfully of course  )
i think the response is pretty flat.

if it is too bass heavy, tweak your preset.
if you run flat, the FOH will sound identical
to your 12ma :ugeek:

I have both a pair of QSC HPR22i's and compared them today to the FBT 12ma. I think they are very similar in their response, but the FBT is a bit smoother in its top end. The QSC's are now my PA system in my home rehearsal studio, and they sound phenomenal in that role.

In the end, I think I will stick with my power amp and Tone Tubby 2x12 guitar cab. I am just so used to hearing my tone that way, and I like the Axe Fx running through it, more than an FRFR setup. I will probably put the FBT up in the Emporium over at The Gear Page, which is my "home" forum, to give someone else a shot at buying it without the wait.
