I got my Axe III Tuesday. Holy hell, I love it. I had the original II before, which is still an amazing piece of gear. I had some great tones with that thing... as a result, I was expecting the III to be more evolutionary that revolutionary for me.
So last night I'm playing with Leon's bitchin ADA MP-1 patch. I'm loving it. I thought, hey, I'll run a looper with a background because frankly I just don't do that enough. Then I thought, damn, I don't have a footswitch, so I'll just make the last beat a ringing chord so I can click the stop button.
Did that. Then, my mind was blown. Blown, I tell ya. Looper trim!!!! Are you kidding me!!!
Before, if I wanted to do some self-jamming, I had to record something in Logic then play that then yada yada yada.
