I recently learned about Mortrix (https://mortrix.io/) from Denmark when visiting the Guitar Summit in Mannheim.
They were really nice people and the pedal seemed like a smart solution and easy to use.
Mortrix has "Device Profiles", so you don't need to map everything yourself and they even show names of parameters, rather than numbers, where it makes sense and where they have access to this kind of information (mainly from the manufacturers manuals if I understood it right). They demonstrated this with the Chase Bliss CXM 1978, where it was possible to select "Room" instead of whatever number this would be. The pedal has a great size, responsive display and those very nice Lehle switches.
I asked about Fractal Audio Profiles, but they didn't create those yet. I also don't know if a two way communication would be possible, but I guess so, since Morningstar did something along those lines (SysEx?). With tax it should come out a tiny bit below the price of an FC-12 in Europe.
