90% of the time this is snake oil woo. Mind you, I do own Evidence guitar cables and mostly use Mogami Platinum (they seem more durable).

Well, it's carrying analog signal, so it's not your typical gold-plated USB connector BS. I use a Mogami Platinum guitar cable too, but OOF that's a stiff price for a headphone cable. At the instrument level, I "feel" like it would make more of a difference than what comes out the other end.
