Mixer in front of AXE III ?

Hi Guys

I use a Tonex in front of my Axe III - I use it to tweak EQ on the fly - its more accessible to me while playing - I also find compression - noise gate - gain at my fingertips etc. great instead of messing with AXE-edit

Is there something else that you think outboard which would do a better job ? maybe a mixing board or something, after quite a search on seeing anything like the Tonex - I just use it in live option not using cabs or amps

I am always tweaking due to the inconsistent youtube audio quality of each video - real pia lol

Have you looked into adding the EQ controls to the performance pages of the AxeFx3?
