Midi interfaces?

So I just got my AXE, I need a MIDI interface to connect it to my computer to use Axe-edit and download patches to the unit. What exactly acts as a midi interface? I'm planning on getting the Behringer foot controller, would this also function as a midi interface? if not what are some inexpensive ones I should consider that get the job done of downloading patches and using axe edit?

No, the Behringer won't act as a midi interface.
