Wish Metronome Tweaks

I wish there was a way while in the looper mode to turn the metronome on/off with the foot switch so you could have a guide to record against. I also wish there was a way to turn it down more than what's available right now. When it is running through my amplifier even at -20 DB it is still very loud.
 
Soundbrenner Pulse is what you need. Get rid of that pesky metronome sound forever. (Not affiliated, though I do have one).
 
All eight footswitches already have functions assigned, and none of them can be changed to PRESS AND HOLD because this compromises their responsiveness. You can easily control toggle metronome using an external footswitch however. Try the Boss FS-5L.
 
Could you perhaps have the REV button have an alternate function that could be set to activate the metronome? I don't know about others but I don't need the REV feature and if I did I could simply set it back to that function. Just a thought:)
