Do we think that James and/or Kirk will ever release any of their Fractal presets? I assume they won’t, but I didn’t know anyone has any inside info.

I'm with you, I doubt those presets are forthcoming anytime soon.

If you dont want to wait and have a few bucks to spend, I can tell you that the NKP Metallica presets pack 1 is dead-on for all 5 of the only albums Metallica ever recorded. I would imagine pack 2 is as incredible, but Metallica is dead to me with the Black album and doesn't exist beyond AJFA so YMMV.

Seriously though, out of the box these were clearly done with "That Mud Ear", he did a brilliant job on em. The album tones are immediately recognizable and get you directly on point for each album. I actually had my new Dave Murray Sig Strat in hand when I loaded em up, and they sounded absolutely amazing! I noodled for an hour straight...Orion to Harvester to Whiplash and more. They sound as great on an ESP with Duncan Invaders and an EBMM Majesty 7.
