Do we have this amp in our library? I've been building some tones lately and don't have a good Mesa patch. A guitar player I admire uses this amp.

Also been having fun splitting the signal just after in1 block, and blending the natural clean guitar sound with the main signal chain. It takes some balancing to hear both signals but it really adds some articulation to patches that have some gain.

The lineage is from the DC, and would also include the Badlander as I understand it. I know the Badlander was added to a wish list, not sure if the DC is modeled offhand.

Have you played around with the USA Rhythm 2 model? Although it's a different flavour, I would put it at least in the same ballpark, especially if you mess with the 5-band graphic EQ.

I've found some great sounds both in the model and the real amp's Rhythm 2 channel that can cover dirty clean to hard rock with a nice round but biting tone. Great tip on blending in the clean DI!
