I finally decided to update the firmware
My axe ultra currently has 7.04
I am trying to bring it up to date 7.18
I am using the Axe-Edit beta (just downloaded it)
It keeps on giving me a bad checksum error
Any Ideas???

I had an issue with that and i just lowered the data transfer rate a little in the midi program i was using and no problems after that.

Now that was a funny! Caught me off guard on that one, I'm still laughing. IIIMK, search the Midi CC Forum here for "bad check sum" and I'm sure you will find your answer. That question has been answered many times. But I think if Fractal Audio would except bad checks for payment more people would own Ultra's, yes?
