Looper issues

I am new to the looper world and really love using it for programming my tones. Is anyone using it live? It seems every time I try to record a sample to play over it there is always a gap at the beginning of the riff when it repeats. Any suggestions or know what I am doing wrong? I am using the FC12 to control it.

If you have a hold function on the record or play switch, it activates on the release of the switch, not the downstroke. Remove the Hold functions to make this better.

The bottom right switch always has a hidden Hold function if “Master Layout Shortcut” is turned on in Setup > FC, so if you need that shortcut (hold lower right and tap top right) don’t put record or play on that switch.
