Loop question

Does anyone know if you can use the right side of the loop to run a pedal and be able to assign it to a patch. I’d like to use it like a pedal looper. And I am running the 4 cable method into my Boogie Mark IV. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You wouldn't be able to feed the pre-amp signal returned by the amp into the looper as the looper would be running in parallel to your pre-amp.
