This is my version of a song Kelsey, originally written and played on Pedal Steel Guitar by Buck Reid. Buck Reid is one of the top PS players, his jazz oriented songs he plays on the C6 neck are amazing. This is a song he played on the E9 neck and was written following the birth of his daughter Kelsey.
I saw him play at the Texas Steel Jamboree in 2016, a real thrill and bought his CD - A Work in Progress. He was offering the TAB and backing tracks for the songs on this album for a small cost, so I bought the TAB and backing tracks for this song.
I was over in Dallas from Scotland, to pick up my custom built MSA, combined that with the Jamboree and following that, we hired a Ford Mustang Convertible and drove down to Austin, where the South by SouthWest festival was taking place. We then drove down to San Antonio for a few days before returning to Dallas.
I have put together a slideshow of the trip to accompany the song.
