Justin Chancellor (TOOL) Bass Preset

My bass rig has been in storage for the last few years, but I'm a bassist at heart. Getting the Ultra let me get back into the swing of things, though I'm still pretty rusty. Anyway, here's my first patch contribution, I'm about two weeks into owning the Ultra.

I made this preset by modeling Justin's actual signal chain as well as I could, substituting and subtracting where necessary. I'm not happy with the Fuzz setting, but everything else sounds pretty spot on to me. I used an Ernie Ball StingRay, stock cabs, and recorded direct into Cubase via S/PDIF.

its my ibanez atk 1300. i made it with DT 770 Pro headphones, it sounds a bit different on my stereo, but anyway i think its pretty close.

i guess so, mine is just drive,amp and cab.

Just wanted to say thanks for this!!! I modified it a bit on my end, but this is a great patch for my Stingray!

Is there any chance someone could repost the patch? Since the forum migrated over, patches posted before then are now corrupted and can't be used.

+1 for re-upload. Just got a bass guitar and want to get some dirty metal bass tones. These seemed a good starting point.
