Just curious where to set the volume on the Neo MKii

I'm just getting around to setting up my FM 9 with the Atomic Neo MKii's. I just wanted to know if you run them at three quarters up on volume and then use the fm9 to dial volume or run them lower and which way have you found to sound better. I know I should just experiment and see what I like but I'd like a starting out point because I don't have experience with them and I know there's a ton of people here that do. Thank you in advance for any help I do appreciate it.

I use clr mk1 with my fm9. I set the Input1 at about 12 o'clock and the master at 4th white point. Then the fm9 output at about 2 o'clock

There's a specific recommended way to properly gain stage them.
