Input 1 having a left and right would be nice for people who only have a primary and a backup guitar (you wouldn’t have to unplug anything… just kill the volume on one as you pick up the other), or for people who’d like to run a doubler or some other form of stereoizer in front of everything, or maybe they want separately process their bridge and neck pickups. The FM9 supports two amp blocks, so two full inputs with the secret sauce and impedance matching and whatnot makes sense, at least to me.
A 9V power output would be nice for those who run a pedal or two with their FM9s, as would a pass-through Edison outlet for those who want to plug in something that needs a regular outlet (if nothing else, it’d be a handy place to plug in a charger or stand light).
Dunno what the internals are like, but the only room on the panel for the mains pass-through looks to be right next to the power input. The logo would need to be reworked, though.
