ISP Hum Extractor with FM3 - worth it?

I have a strat and a tele that still get hum while playing even with the "intelligent" input gate of the FM3. I'm really interested in the ISP Hum Extractor since it can filter out noise while playing, unlike with a gate.

It's expensive, though. I want to make sure it will sound good, will work well with my FM3, and of course will eliminate hum better than the FM3 can.

Anyone with experience care to share your thoughts?

Thank you!

I don't think it's necessary. Have you tried putting a gate block between amp and cab and setting its source to input1?
I will try this tonight. Though that would still allow noise while the gate is open, right? The Extractor takes out the noise in the signal itself so while playing there is less noise
