Is there a manual for FM9-Edit? Trying to figure out how to save favorite blocks and individual settings on different effects etc. and be able to recall those favorite blocks and settings to a new Preset.

Thanks.

Thanks. Can you save individual delay, chorus etc. settings and add them to a library?
Do you mean as channels? Yes, that choice occurs as part of saving the block. If you save it as a channel it will overwrite the currently selected channel in the block when you insert it.

There's a generic(?) manual, but it's not finished. Fractal isn't a big company, and they wear multiple hats, so working on the editor documentation gets pushed down on the stack when things get busy. You've probably noticed they're always releasing updates to the firmware, which forces changes to *Edit, which forces changes to the documentation, so it's a never-ending cycle.

It's important to know that the editor basically does everything that you can accomplish from the front-panel. There are a few things that the editor can do, such as mass changes and backups and restores and updates to the firmware, because Fractal-Bot is embedded in it, and there are some things that the editor can not do, so it's useful, and, dare I say… important… to be familiar with the front-panel. I recommend building/modifying some presets using it, because odds are good you'll need to make a change sometime when the editor isn't available.

Always feel free to ask specific questions and we'll do our best to help you make sense of things.
