Sorry if I sound like a babbling newbie fractal fanboy. But I am I guess.
After getting all the presets of amps\cabs that I am used to having in the real tube amp world.
I wanted to create something new that I had never done before. I'm all about clean platforms to build on to start from. Blackface and Vox mainly.
So I was looking at the list of amps and its quite over whelming. Not knowing where to start I basically "threw a dart" and chose Capt Hook 1A. Wow, what a stroke of luck finding this. After tweaking it and pairing it with the Dyna cab Friedman V30. I thought it sounded near identical to the blackbird circuit of my Fargen DBC 50. So I compared and sure enough it was near identical. The blackbird circuit of this amp is Blackface inspired but with EL34s which the Capt hook has. I will likely experiment with more cab choices.
Never really heard of these amps but I'm a fan of at least the model.
