I reviewed the Charvel DK24 vs the Ibanez RG2402

Great review. I had the exact DK24 up until earlier this year. Amazing guitar for the value. I found the frets were massive as well and I wasn't a huge fan of the Full shred pickup. I ended up swapping the pups and put in suhr SSH set that sounded great in that guitar. I like the Ibanez tones there ..def sound smoother and the DK24 pups to me were too bright/hot again why I swapped them out. Also the DK24 chlorine burst finish is purdy as heck. That won me over right away when I bought mine.
 
I've got a USA Select DK24 that I love, but that Full Shred is... I dunno. It's extremely clear, but the low-end is missing. Been considering a Black Winter or Custom. However, the Alnico II Pro in the neck sounds fantastic.

I've been thinking about swapping the full shred for that exact Suhr pickup or the SSH+. I have that in one of my Suhrs and it is fantastic. But then I go back to it sounds great as is, why fix it if it ain't broke.
