I just ordered an HPR122i......

I took the plunge on one since I've been messing around with some of the bands in town, need some good amplification for the Axe. Can't wait to get it.

For the past few months, I've only heard the Axe through headphones. How does the HPR122i perform at bedroom volume level? I'm hoping it can serve as both a jamming rig and home/bedroom rig.

The HPR122i sounds great from whisper quiet bedroom level to rattle the windows loud they're great you'll have no problem.
 
They're great at both levels. But you still definitely need to turn up to tweak the detail of your sound (as with anything, afaik).
 
Sweet. Because I heard somewhere that they are not so great at lower volumes. The good reviews outweighed the bad as far as that's concerned, and I can always use a warm fuzzy from you all here. Can't wait to get it.
