..on bass guitar? You know, like Chris Squire got on his long sustained notes in heaviest parts of his later albums?
... I imagine it's a split signal but getting the biting 'buzzer' top end is the part i'm having trouble with. I know it's a parallel path high passed and saturated. Drive pedal or second amp? Which amp?
I have a biting bass guitar Pevey Dyna Bass. I'm using the SV bass and 410x cab, and a parallel path with comp -> para EQ (hi passed) -> drive pedal -> para EQ. -> (leveled and summed with cab) -> Out. I can get close with the drive pedal (on fuzz face) but it's not quite right..
