How to get an MP3 into a thread post?

So i have a mp3 sample of 18b doing its weird sound thing but have never submitted an mp3. Do i need to put the mp3 on-line somewhere first, and then... ? TIA.

Thanks, Luke. I am registered now, but don't see how to upload an mp3, and the soundclick forum search is 'offline at this time'... I seems to want me to register as a band or 'artist', is that the reason i don't see an uplink tab yet? :-|

You can open a Soundcloud account -- much better than soundclick.

And then use the soundcloud tags to embed a Soundcloud-hosted track in to a post.

If you have your clip some place like Dropbox you can use the mp3 tag around the public sharing link to embed a player in to a post.
