How to equalize wah pedal boosting overall signal volume?

I have an SP1 pedal set up w/ my FM9, but when I engage the wah it boosts the overall volume over the baseline max volume (wah not engaged). The "Level" knob doesn't seem to affect the actual volume only the "wetness" of the wah in mix. I'm using the toe switch to switch between wah and volume control.

Any ideas how I can bring the volume of the wah pedal down to equalize its volume when not engaged?
 
Is your Wah block in a parallel path? Post the preset, or at least a screenshot of your block layout grid.
 
Make sure only one path through the parallel Wah and Rotary blocks is active at a time. I'd wager your Rotary block is passing dry signal when your Wah block is active, doubling the signal level.

Simplest solution is to move the Rotary block to be in series instead of parallel and use Thru bypass mode for both.
