Hot FM3

"Not so long ago, I noticed that the FM3 processor began to heat up a lot, reaching peak temperatures of 85 degrees Celsius. I repeatedly cleaned it from dust with compressed air and even changed the temperature in the rooms, but the temperature still ranged from 70 to 85 degrees. Has anyone had that? Tell me, is it normal? And if not, how to fix it?"

What is it sitting on? If it's a carpet then the bottom air intake could be blocked. Also, similarly, if the side air vents are blocked then the airflow will be reduced.

The FM3 is designed so that passive air movement will keep it cool enough most of the time as long as the airflow isn't blocked.

Cliff said this…
Firmware 1.05:
[90] The fan now operates at different thresholds than when the ambient temperature was used. It should now spin up at 60°C, switch to high speed at 70°C, and turn off when the temperature drops below 55°C.

So, according to the temps you're reporting and from what Cliff said, it sounds like the fan is switching to high-speed correctly. Confirm that nothing is blocking the vents and you should be fine.

The most interesting thing is that there is full access to ventilation, and the processor itself is in a rather cool room. The Fractal support service told me that the problem could be in the cooler, but it works and is quite noisy.
