Hof 2 mash function simulation

In the editor I tried to recreate the shimmer mode of the Hall of Fame 2.
The HoF2 has a footswitch with a MASH function: when you press and hold it and put some weight on it, the shimmer comes forward.

My first idea was to assign a control switch to the Plex Delay block and later to the Andromeda reverb, set it to momentary, with the mix going from a minimum of 10% up to 100%.
This basically works, but it’s a bit tricky to dial in the attack and release so the dramatic effect feels right.

The main issue is that at 100% max mix my dry signal disappears. I actually want to keep the dry signal and just increase the shimmer effect by holdind the control switch.

Do I need to run a second signal path in a new row to Output 1 to make this work?
 
Maybe try assigning your control switch to the Mix in the Pitch Shift section of the reverb instead of the main Mix parameter. That will let you control the shimmer voices level without affecting the overall wet/dry mix directly.
 
That's actually a pretty good advice. Thanks. I just recognized there's a stack hold switch to. I will try to assigne the control switch to the stack hold toggle and the level knob in the midifier panel
