Help with sound

For long time I always love a special clean sound for intros.
Now yesterday I heard a song which exactly is the one I mention: Def Leppard-Hysteria



Can you guys point me in the right direction of this intro sound. Or have a patch which comes close?

that sound comes from a Sholz Rockman X100, the whole album was recorded with a Rockman,

Pick just about any clean amp and add a chorus block. Set the chorus to "80's chorus" and enjoy. You can also add some delay...

Although it's not one I typically use, the JC120 model is probably a good amp model to start with.

Oops...this is for XL! Not AX8, don't know if it will translate via Fractool, cuz there's a tone match block, IIRC....but give it a go....

I found that one and the dist one to be pretty close. I was actually going to suggest the same preset. I got it working on the ax8. That is funny. Listening to it now, it does sound like the Rockman. I wonder how many bands used that in the 80's. I think ZZtop did, for some time too. You can hear that real "woody" tone.
