help needed!!

still getting used to the MFC 101. i have it set up so that buttons 1-10 are presets and want to set up an instant access switch for boosts (solo). so whatever setting/preset i am on I want to be able to hit a boost button to boost the sound. can anyone babystep me (ie: program for dummies) what to do to set one button up as a boost. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance

Don't have a MFC - I know Midi can be a pain to set up due to the strange terminology used but maybe this will help somewhat if you haven't already looked:

I suppose the best way would be to set up a drive shunt in each preset you want a boost function in (there's a way to copy the same one across presets, but I've never done that). Then set whichever IA you like to that drive (1 or 2).
