Bug? GAPs in Drive Block

Drive block is OFF. When I switch its channels A B C D, I hear gaps. It seems to be happening on all devices. My friend has the same issue.

It’s normal. I posted about it not long ago and that was the answer. Maybe not normal on the FM9 or Axe but the FM3 does it. I wrap 4 channels of drive. I try to do the switching between song gaps. Just looked and the linked post was mine. It’s not really an issue compared to all the great things the little box can do.

Can you find the post?

It's not normal - the whole point of Gapless switching is to not have gaps when changing channels, scenes or presets.

What's your CPU level in the preset?

Already discussed this in the other thread. My cpu is below 75% on all presets. Gapless is enabled. I noticed one night that switching drive channels even when bypassed produces a short audio drop. If you have an FM3, try it and you’ll see what I’m talking about.

The post has been linked above by @Riccardo Ros. He tested out my issue and experienced the same thing. So I’m assuming it’s normal behavior until it’s fixed if that happens. If you have an FM3 try it for yourself. And I would like to know if the other units do the same thing. My presets switch fine no gaps. It would be great if FAS fixed this issue but it’s not something I’m worried about.

For you it’s only the one preset? All my presets do this.

Ok, but you said "it's normal".

Just because multiple users experience the issue doesn't mean it's normal.

That's just a reproducible bug ;)

I do not experience this on FM9 or Axe Fx III. All of my presets change drive blocks and channels on every scene change.

My FM3 is currently in use by my son so not available for me to test.

I would suggest creating a bug thread for this issue.

Perhaps @m_brown is already aware of it?

To be clear the gap occurs while changing channels on a bypassed drive block.
