FX8 Noise gate issue

Hi guys,
I got FX8 again and now it is Mark II. My issue is with its Input noise gate block. It is not working. Meter is full and Treshold setting doesn't do anything. Weird thing is that I had previously FX8 MKI and it has exactly the same issue with input noise gate. I had/have the other Fractal gear so I know how it should work :) Any suggerstions ? Thanks. David
 
They have made big advancements in the noise gate since then. I'll connect my FX8 and see. Normally, I don't use it.
