For Bass Rigs?

Hi,

I have had an ultra for years and love it. Lately I've been playing some bass in a new band and have a nice loud amp system. To go along with it I just bought a boutique drive pedal but if I could find a floor based multi effects with the Fractal quality I'm sold. Has this unit been tried with a bass in mind as well? I find the different frequencies of the bass do change how effects work in my ultra.

I use my axe fx (mark I) for bass. I prefere using it with my traditional amp, only using axefx for effects.
To carry less things for gigs I'll use the fx8 for effects for bass...
It's one rack less to use in gigs... :mrgreen
