fm9 weight vs fm3 w/fc-6 weight

So it looks like my name might be coming up for a fm9 in the next few months and I was honestly just gonna stick with my fm3/fc6 setup, but I just can't resist. One thing I'm curious about is how the weight compares between the fm9 by itself compared to the fm3 and fc6 together. My board with my fm3 and fc6 and some extra pedals is pretty hefty, hoping the fm9 on it's own will shed a few lbs. It's not a deal breaker, it's just out of curiosity. Thanks!!

Correct. The trade-off is where the flexibility of the FM3+FC6 combination shines. They fit in a case with a smaller footprint when stacked vertically, and the FM3 can be used by itself if necessary. That’s useful for fly-dates or maneuvering through crowds.
